Classic Amaretto Sour Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 ounces amaretto
  • 1 ounce lemon juice
  • ½ ounce egg white
  • 1 teaspoon simple syrup
  • Ice
  • Dash of orange bitters
  • Orange slice, for garnish
  • Cherry, for garnish
Directions
  1. Add the amaretto to a cocktail shaker
  2. Add the lemon juice.
  3. Add the egg white.
  4. Add the simple syrup.
  5. Dry shake the cocktail for 15 seconds, until foamy.
  6. Add ice and shake again until the cocktail is chilled.
  7. Strain into a cocktail glass.
  8. Garnish the amaretto sour with a dash of bitters, an orange slice, and a cherry, and serve.
