Cheesy Creamy Million Dollar Chicken Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • ¾ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 ½ cups medium cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons minced chives
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Dice the bacon.
  3. Cook the bacon in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. When the bacon is crisp, transfer it to a paper towel-lined plate to drain the fat. Set aside.
  5. Add the cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream to a large bowl. Whisk to combine.
  6. Dice the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
  7. Add the chicken to the cream cheese mixture along with the garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  8. Add in ½ cup cheddar cheese and half of the bacon. Stir to combine.
  9. Spritz a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  10. Add the chicken mixture to the baking dish and spread into an even layer. Place into the oven and bake for 45 minutes.
  11. Remove the dish from the oven and set the oven to broil.
  12. Top the chicken with the remaining cheese. Return to the oven and broil for 5 minutes until lightly browned and bubbling and the chicken's internal temperature reads 165 F.
  13. Remove the dish from the oven and allow it to sit for 5 minutes. Top with chives and remaining bacon and serve.
